project overview
Platero is the debut album by Nina Golubović, inspired by Platero y Yo by Spanish writer Juan Ramón Jiménez. The visual concept grew from a photograph Nina took of a donkey during a journey through Spain, connecting a personal travel memory with the literary reference behind the album.

Design approach
The client wanted to connect that personal reference with Platero y Yo. I translated it into a warm visual language using soft beige tones and bold red accents inspired by Spanish visual culture.
Album Artwork & Packaging
The visual system carries consistently across the digipak, CD artwork, and booklet.
Booklet Design
The booklet continues the visual language of the album through photography, typography, and editorial composition, extending the story beyond the cover.
